ABOUT US

Built in 1955, the Ward 7 Hospital and Dr M.L. Kuhlmann began serving the Town of Montgomery and the surrounding communities with accessible quality healthcare. ‘Doc’ Kuhlmann was a dedicated healthcare servant to Grant Parish and he provided care to the area for many decades until the latter part of the 20th century. He and his practice are still talked about to this very day.

Nearly 15 years later, in 2013, a newly graduated Nurse Practitioner by the name of Benjamin ‘BJ’ Colvin began to revive the Ward 7 Hospital into what is now known as Montgomery Family Clinic. BJ and his wife, Hollie, then acquired the clinic in 2016 and continue to provide high quality and accessible healthcare from that same building erected in 1955.

 

Now with 2 providers available to serve Montgomery and the surrounding areas, Montgomery Family Clinic looks forward to meeting the healthcare needs of this area for many years to come.
